Banana bread

10' Easy 12345

– 3 ripe bananas
– 3 eggs
– 3 tbsp honey
– 50 ml oil x
– 200 g wheat flour
– 2 tsp baking powder
– 2 tsp ground cinnamon
– ½ tsp salt
– 80 g dark chocolate, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Take the ingredients out of the fridge beforehand to bring them to room temperature.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat.

Step 3

In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.

Step 4

Add the eggs and beat with a manual or electric whisk. Then add the honey and beat again, followed by the oil x.

Step 5

Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Step 6

If desired, add the chocolate and mix gently with a spatula.

Step 7

Pour the batter into a medium-sized loaf pan (about 24x12 cm), either non-stick or lined with parchment paper. Decorate with more chocolate and banana slices if desired.

Step 8

Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven, take out of the pan, and let cool completely before slicing.
