Meatballs with tomato sauce

• 500 g of minced beef
• 150 ml of whole milk
• 2 onions
• 4 cloves of garlic
• Fresh parsley
• Olive oil
• 1 free-range egg
• Bread crumbs
• 600 g of crushed tomatoes
• Flour for dredging

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl put the meat, milk, egg, bread crumbs, season with salt and pepper, garlic, and parsley.

Step 2

Shape into meatballs, add a little oil, and bake for about 15 min at 180 degrees. Set aside.

Step 3

In a saucepan, sauté onion with oil and add the crushed tomatoes. Let it cook and reduce.

Step 4

Put the meatballs in the saucepan with the tomato and let them cook for about 20 minutes inside.

Step 5

Serve with chopped parsley on top.
